Ukrainian model Kateryna Lozovytska has announced on Instagram that she is expecting her first child with her husband, musician Hidayat Seyidov.
The winner of the twelfth season of the Ukrainian reality dating show The Bachelor shared the joyful personal update with her followers by publishing photographs that displayed a visibly rounded baby bump.
In a concise caption accompanying the black and white images, Lozovytska wrote that the pregnancy was their most important and happiest news. She added that they were overjoyed to welcome their baby, concluding her message with a heart emoji.
The baby will mark the first child together for the couple. Lozovytska married Seyidov, a singer of Azerbaijani descent who performs under the stage name Geed, on September 23 of this year.
The family announcement follows an earlier relationship in the model's life that ended shortly after an engagement. Lozovytska had previously been engaged to a former partner, but she broke off the relationship only several weeks after the proposal. Explaining the split, Lozovytska stated that she decided to end the relationship because she felt that she did not have deep feelings for him.
Rise to fame on The Bachelor
Lozovytska initially rose to prominence across Ukraine after competing in and winning the twelfth season of The Bachelor, broadcast domestically under the Ukrainian title Kholostyak. The television series, which airs on the Ukrainian network STB, is a local adaptation of the international reality dating franchise. The format features an eligible bachelor who dates a group of female contestants over several weeks, narrowing the field through group dates and individual outings before handing out final roses. After winning the final rose during the season finale, Lozovytska built an extensive public career as a professional fashion model and social media personality.
Her announcement comes alongside other pregnancy news in the Ukrainian entertainment industry. Popular Ukrainian singer Diana Gloster also previously announced her pregnancy, confirming that she is expecting a baby boy.
