Katie Price Snubs Promo for Jackie The Stripper Film

Former glamour model Katie Price has angered director Michael Head after snubbing promotion for her movie debut in the comedy film Jackie The Stripper. The 48-year-old star, who channeled her alter ego Jordan for a small role, failed to attend the premiere at the start of July after begging for a part in the project.

Price was expected to promote the film once again after it became available to buy and rent on Amazon Prime this week, but failed to do so. Head was left full of frustration as he described her actions as "disgusting".

He explained: "This is about female empowerment. This is about all the things that we're making a film for. And Katie's just snubbed it which is not really what's done."

Head's publicist said: "Michael has reached out to all the cast to publicise the release of the film on Amazon and all the cast have got involved in promoting Jackie The Stripper, apart from Katie Price."

Representatives for Price denied that she was required to do further promotion for the film. Her management team declined to comment on why she failed to attend the premiere.

Film premiere absence

It was understood in June that Price would attend the premiere after her management team SANDS confirmed her attendance four days before the event. However, management confirmed just two days before the premiere that she would no longer attend because she was back in Dubai.

A source told the Daily Mail: "No reason for her withdrawal has been provided other than her decision to remain abroad."

The source added: "It is disappointing that Katie has cancelled her appearance at such short notice, particularly after her attendance had been confirmed on multiple occasions and publicly. She even DM'd the director asking for her ticket for attendance on 6th May 2026."

Movie plot and cast

Set in London's Whitechapel district in 1888, Price plays a character named Lisa, while Charlotte Kirk, 34, plays the lead role of Jackie. In the film, Lisa mentors Jackie as she navigates the world of strip clubs.

The film synopsis reads: "Set in London's Whitechapel district in 1888, Kirk stars as Jackie/Lottie who finds herself plagued by the infamous Jack The Ripper (Lomas) who is head of a secret organisation known only as The Court."

"Only one man, John Grey (Webster), stands up to the Ripper, vowing to fight against the tyranny, carnage and male oppression that is left in the court's wake. Cut to modern day, and a group of kick-ass female assassins, led by their leader Jackie, plan a series of hits that will leave The Court dead in their tracks."

Director Michael Head explained: 'This is about female empowerment. This is about all the things that we're making a film for. And Kate's just snubbed it which is not really what's done'

The film also stars Patsy Kensit, Kimberly Wyatt, TOWIE star Chloe Meadows, and Jamie Lomas. The trailer featured women taking on men who visited strip clubs after luring them in with daring lingerie and dance moves.

Price had a brief scene in the trailer wearing a red blazer suit. The star previously had a cameo in the disaster movie Sharknado 5: Global Swarming in 2017, where she played the love interest of American actor Chris Kattan's character.
