Kyle Richards confronts Ashley Darby over Mauricio Umansky

Kyle Richards confronts fellow television personality Ashley Darby for flirting with her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky during a cast celebration in Atlanta.

The confrontation, which airs on the August 30 episode of Bravo's "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th," marks the first time Richards has seen Darby since the incident involving the real estate mogul.

Darby, 38, showed interest in Umansky, 56, during his cameo on "The Real Housewives of Potomac" earlier this year. Richards and Umansky split in 2023 after 27 years of marriage.

At the Atlanta gathering, Richards, 57, initially fails to recognise Darby, who is dressed in male drag with a suit and facial hair.

"Is that the girl that made the comment about Mo that I talked about on Amazon Live dressed in the suit?" Richards asks castmate Luann de Lesseps. "I think it is."

"I did not know Ashley was going to be here tonight and it took me a minute," the "Halloween Ends" actress says in a confessional. "It's the facial hair mixed with the cleavage throwing me off a little bit? Maybe."

Flirting allegations

Richards acknowledges that Darby's comments about Umansky in Aspen are widely discussed online.

"This is out there currently being talked about on Instagram, on the internet every time I open my phone," Richards says. "So, obviously I'm going to say something to her. Do I love it? No. But it would be more weird to pretend like it's not out there."

Before Richards approaches, Darby, the "Coffee & Love" singer, denies the flirting to her Potomac co-star Stacey Rusch.

"I did not flirt with that man," Darby insists.

When Rusch replies, "I feel like he was flirting with you," Darby declares, "No, there was no flirting!"

Rusch then adds, "He liked you and you liked him."

The confrontation

As Richards walks up to Darby, she thinks to herself, "This is a sisterhood, you don't do that."

Darby addresses the situation first. "I think there's some misconceptions about what went down with your ex-husband," she tells Richards.

Richards responds: "Technically, we're still married. So..."

Richards shares daughters Alexia Umansky, 30, Sophia Umansky, 26, and Portia Umansky, 18, with Umansky, as well as Farrah Brittany, 37, from a previous marriage.

"The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th" broadcasts on Bravo on Sundays at 9 p.m.

Franchise rankings

In a separate list ranking every cast member in the history of the franchise, E! News placed several women near the bottom.

The list ranked "The Real Housewives of D.C." cast members Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney and Stacie Scott Turner between 175 and 178, alongside a fifth unnamed woman who gate-crashed a White House party.

Orange County's Kimberly Bryant placed 174th, followed by castmate Tammy Knickerbocker at 173. Atlanta's DeShawn Snow, who starred alongside NeNe Leakes, ranked 172nd. Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, a one-season Orange County cast member, placed 171st.

Salt Lake City's Jennie Nguyen took 170th place. Nguyen was fired in January 2022 after "offensive" and racially insensitive Facebook posts surfaced, for which she later apologised. Orange County's Quinn Fry, whose defining trait was described as "cougar," placed 169th.

Jen Armstrong, an Orange County doctor, ranked 168th. She experienced marriage troubles with her husband Ryne and got absolutely wasted on wine at a dinner party hosted by the Dubrow family in season 16.

Beverly Hills nurse anesthetist Annemarie Wiley placed 167th after a first season defined by "Esophagus-gate". Potomac's Katie Rost, known for her charity work, placed 166th after leaving a cast trip early. Potomac castmate Charrisse Jackson Jordan took 165th place, remembered for her champagne room and marriage problems. Atlanta's Shamari DeVoe placed 164th and was described as a fun, one-season cast member.

Orange County's Peggy Sulahian ranked 163rd after fighting over words she did not understand and hiding in her room for an entire day in Iceland. Potomac's Nneka Ihim placed 162nd; her season eight storyline involved allegedly accusing castmate Wendy Osefo's mother of being a witch.

Orange County's Noella Bergener took 161st place. During season 16, her husband James asked for a divorce and left the country, and she feuded with Heather Dubrow. New Jersey's Siggy Flicker placed 160th following a final season involving unrelenting complaints about a thrown cake and unfounded claims of anti-Semitism.

New Jersey's Amber Marchese and her husband Jim ranked 159th, with the publication noting Jim was involved in more drama than she was. Miami dentist Karent Sierra placed 158th, as none of her castmates liked her. Miami's Cristy Rice ranked 157th. Jules Wainstein, who had a brief tenure in New York City, placed 156th.

Beverly Hills author and financial advisor Amanda Francis placed 155th. The self-professed "Money Queen" exited after season 15 following criticism over her questionable career advice and obsession with material things. New Jersey's Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano placed 153rd and 154th because they were deemed so unnecessary they lacked individual taglines.

Dubai cast member Nina Ali, described as an Arab woman blending cultural traditions with modern life, placed 152nd. Dubai sophomore Taleen Marie took 151st place.

Potomac's Angel Massie ranked 150th. The wife of retired NFL player Bobby Massie got her castmates lost in the Colorado wilderness during season 10, where they ate gas station fast food.

Atlanta's Eva Marcille, an "America's Next Top Model" veteran who was pregnant for her entire tenure, placed 149th. She was noted for confronting Marlo Hampton in Tokyo. Orange County's Katie Ginella placed 148th after feuding with Dubrow in season 18. Miami's Stephanie Shojaee ranked 147th for using her private jet as leverage over castmates in season seven.

Dubai tech entrepreneur Sara Al Madani placed 146th. The Middle Eastern cast member gave poorly received parenting advice to Caroline Brooks. New Jersey's Rachel Fuda and Danielle Cabral placed 144th and 145th after a season 13 fight over nothing that Andy Cohen deemed pointless at the reunion.
