Spanish pop band La Oreja de Van Gogh has sold out nearly all of its 2027 Latin American tour dates in just over 24 hours, selling more than 100,000 tickets.
The overwhelming ticket demand for the group's Tantas Cosas Que Contar tour forced concert promoters to add a third show in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after initial dates filled immediately, while concerts in Colombia, Ecuador, and Uruguay also sold out completely.
The Latin American leg of the reunion tour represents the band's first major international sweep since frontwoman Amaia Montero reunited with the group at the end of 2025. Following strong ticket sales across Spain, the band announced its South American tour dates two weeks prior, triggering a rapid sell-out across major arenas.

Ticket sales for the tour surpassed 100,000 units within hours of opening to the public. Organizers highlighted that such commercial speed is achieved by few Spanish musical acts that established their careers in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
The rapid sell-outs reflect long-standing nostalgia among fans eager to hear classic hits performed live by Montero alongside her bandmates. Favorite songs featured on radio networks such as Cadena 100 include Rosas, La playa, 20 de enero, and Muñeca de trapo.
Amaia Montero and band reunion background
La Oreja de Van Gogh, founded in San Sebastián in 1996, grew into one of Spain's most successful pop exports, earning multiple international awards and top positions on music charts across Latin America. Montero served as the original lead vocalist until leaving the band in 2007 to pursue a solo career.
After a year of uncertainty regarding the band's future, Montero agreed to step back up to the microphone at the end of 2025, ending nearly two decades apart from the group. Although early reunion concerts presented initial challenges as Montero managed stage nerves, the tour quickly gained momentum and critical stability, turning into a resounding commercial success in Spain before expanding across the Atlantic.

Ticket vendors for the 14 March concert at Costa 21 in Lima indicate low remaining availability, and organizers expect the venue to reach full capacity in the coming days.
