Reality television star Laura Byrne has revealed she developed a haemorrhoid while attending the 2026 Logie Awards at The Star in Sydney on Sunday night.
The 40-year-old Bachelor winner confessed the unexpected medical issue on Tuesday during an episode of her Life Uncut podcast, which she co-hosts with Brittany Hockley.

Describing the painful aftermath of the ceremony, Byrne explained how she noticed the discomfort upon returning home from the star-studded event.
'I sh** you not, I got a haemorrhoid last night,' Byrne told her co-host on air.
Hockley expressed shock at the revelation, questioning how such an injury occurred at an awards show.
'What the f*** are you doing at the Logies? You don't go to the Logies haemorrhoid-free and come home with a haemorrhoid,' Hockley said.

Byrne recalled feeling severe pain throughout the night following the ceremony.
'I came home and all night I was like, "Why is there a pain in my a***?"' Byrne added.
She attributed the condition to standing so long in a pair of high heels after giving birth to three kids vaginally.
Sharing a clip of the confession to Instagram, Byrne wrote: 'Would have preferred coming home with a goodie bag to be honest'.

Red carpet encounter with Georgia Love
The health revelation followed an unexpected encounter on the Logies red carpet between Byrne and former Bachelorette star Georgia Love.
The meeting came a decade after Love famously broke the heart of Matty 'J' Johnson on season two of The Bachelorette in 2016.
Johnson was left devastated when Love chose Lee Elliott as her winner instead of him.
Byrne later competed on and won season five of The Bachelor, earning Johnson's heart. The couple subsequently married and now share three children together.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail, Byrne dismissed suggestions that bumping into Love at The Star created any tension.
'No, not at all. Why?' Byrne said when asked if the run-in was awkward.
'I mean, it's been ten years since my season of The Bachelor, and we've been married for how many years? And we have three children...' she added while laughing off the rumor.

Past friction over social media comments
The friendly exchange came despite previous public friction between the two television personalities in 2019.
At the time, Byrne publicly criticized Love over an expletive-laden social media post regarding Bachelor star Matt Agnew.
Love had posted 'F*** YOU MATT. Don't @ me' on Twitter after Agnew eliminated fan favorite contestant Elly Miles from his season.
Byrne, who works as a jewellery designer, voiced strong disapproval of the former television reporter's choice of words.
'My issue with it didn't so much come from, "She's offering criticism,"' Byrne said in 2019.
'I mean, it's totally okay to not be an Abbie [Chatfield] fan and to be upset that your favourite character is going home. However, language is really, really important,' Byrne explained.
'She didn't say, "Hey, this isn't cool." She chose to use obscenities and basically verbally abused Matt for his choices,' she added.
Byrne argued that Love's post set a 'really, really low bar' for acceptable online commentary and warned that such posts could encourage viewers to direct online abuse toward the astrophysicist.
The Logie Awards are Australia's premier annual television industry awards, celebrating achievements in broadcasting and entertainment.
