New franchise releases and adaptations
Japanese anime remake The One Piece is scheduled for release in February 2027. The original adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's manga premiered in 1999 and has aired nearly 1,200 episodes. The 2027 project marks the first full remake, designed to follow the original manga more closely. The narrative follows Monkey D.
