Cheese cream:

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese or mascarpone
  • 2 tablespoons of natural Greek yogurt
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ⅓ cup (tea) of Minas cheese cut into pieces

Creamy Guava Ingredients:

  • 150 g of smoked guava paste or creamy guava paste
  • 6 tablespoons water or enough to dissolve the guava scrub

PRE-PREPARATION:

  1. Assemble the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. Chop the guava smear (skip this step if you’re using creamy smear). Reserve some pieces for finishing (optional).
  3. Cut the fresh Minas cheese into small pieces, set aside in a bowl.

PREPARATION:

Cheese cream:

  1. In the blender, or processor, whisk all the cream ingredients.
  2. The texture should be smooth, so beat well.
  3. This recipe should preferably be served individually. Divide the cream cheese among serving bowls.
  4. Store it in the fridge until serving.

Creamy Goiabada: (only for those who use guava smears)

  1. In a pan, dissolve the deburred guava in small pieces with the water (see the quantity in the ingredients), stirring well to incorporate it.
  2. Keep the heat low and stir with a spatula so it doesn’t burn.
  3. Add more water if needed.
  4. When it melts completely and becomes creamy, turn off the heat.
  5. Keep it in the pan, to adjust the syrup before using it.

FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. When you’re ready to serve, remove the bowls from Cheese and guava from the fridge.
  2. Adjust the tip of the guava syrup, adding a little more filtered water if needed.
  3. Spread the creamy goibada on the cream cheese.
