1. Support the animal
Founded in 2010, Ampara Animal’s main goal is to promote the protection of animals, rescue and care of endangered and abandoned animals. The organization also runs awareness campaigns and tries to promote responsible adoption.
2. Carmel Institute
Instituto Caramelo, formerly known as Instituto Luisa Mell, is located in Ribeirão Pires, São Paulo, and acts in defense of animal rights, rescuing animals in situations of abuse, neglect and exploitation. In addition, it carries out awareness-raising activities and adoption projects.
3. SUIPA (Society of the International Union for the Protection of Animals)

Specialized in rescuing and promoting the adoption of cats, Adote um Gatinho is one of the largest feline protection NGOs in Brazil. Created in 2009, it operates in São Paulo and organizes adoption fairs, veterinary care and awareness campaigns on responsible ownership.
6. SOS Wildlife
Since 2000, SOS Fauna has been an NGO working to protect the wild animals, rescue and rehabilitation of animals victims of trafficking and abuse. The organization works in partnership with government agencies and carries out the responsible release of rehabilitated animals.
7. Friends of San Francisco
Created in 2012, Amigos de São Francisco is an NGO that acts in the defense and protection of animals, carrying out rescues, veterinary care and the search for adoptive homes. They also promote educational actions and awareness campaigns.
8. Tamar Project
Created in 1980, Projeto Tamar is an NGO dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles in Brazil. Volunteers carry out research, monitoring of breeding beaches, rescue of puppies and environmental education activities. The organization operates in 22 locations across the country.
