Ingredients for the green broth with potatoes and peppers:
- 1 liter of boiling water (approximately)
- 1 bacon bouillon cube
- 3 1/2 cups (tea) potato cubes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 pieces of sliced Calabrian sausage
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup cabbage (sliced and shredded)
Method of preparation:
In a pan, over medium heat, cook the water, broth, potatoes and bay leaf for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Leave to cool, remove the blond and beat everything in the blender until smooth. Heat a pan with oil over medium heat and saute the onion for 2 minutes. Add the sausage and fry until golden brown. Add the beaten potato, salt and pepper and cook until boiling. If necessary, add more water. Stir in the cabbage and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off and serve.
