Signs of time and stories mark the furnishings of this loft


For CASACOR SP 2023, the SUITE Arquitetos studio started from the principle of the most vernacular Brazilian houses, built in rammed earth

For CASACOR São Paulo 2023, the SUITE Arquitetos studio, of the partners Carolina Mauro, Daniela Frugiuele and Filipe Tronconsign the project Kratizen Cosentino House: the environment of 200 m2 it started from the principle of the most vernacular Brazilian houses, built in rammed earth, which bear the signs of permanence on the walls. Highlighted by the coverings that make up the space, these stories have as their starting point the central volume of the environment, which brings rammed earth back to earth, with nuances of paintings in earth tones.

From the central volume, the various stratifications, which reflect the memories of the house, appear in the compositions with travertine marble and in the artistic painting, created by Adriana and Carlota atelierdepicting the abode that has kept the memories of several inhabitants in moments that are no longer there.

Right at the entrance to the environment, attention is drawn to the work of the Mexican Hector Zamora, who has lived and worked in Brazil for almost a decade. In the series “3-Potencialidades A” (2022), Zamora uses ceramic bricks that he deconstructs to compose combinations.

The project is guided by a color palette that favors the clear and organic tones which are also present in the furniture developed by the architects, exclusively, for this edition of CASACOR São Paulo.

The sofa, designed to “embrace” the space, has curved and fluid shapes and a welcoming texture, with folds and creases that give the piece a memory look. To the central tables bring a reinterpretation of textures created with natural silk straw waste raw materials, which have been rethought, reconstructed, reused and woven by the team of SUITES Design with materials of the textile designer Dwarf slipper.

already the small table, produced with Dekton®️ Kraftizen Umber and Albarium, by Cosentino, consolidates the space’s proposal to honor and save memories, based on craftsmanship. The project also got a unique landscape, created by the Landscape scenery. A garden, which accompanies the central volume in mud, brings a set of flowers in shades that vary between earthy, purplish and wine.
