“In the case of dark compositions, what stood out is Preto São Gabriel. Thanks to its dirt-hiding pigment and its affordable price, it has gained a lot of preference from customers,” he explains. For those who prefer a lighter decoration, the architect and urban planner says that the granites with the best cost-benefit ratio are siena white, itaúnas white and andorinha gray.
Marble, on the other hand, is usually not suitable for the kitchen. According to Patrícia Lacerda and Norah Carneiro, it is a porous material.
