Kiss ingredients:

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 200ml of coconut milk
  • 50 g of grated dry coconut
  • 2 tablespoons (coffee) of butter + a little to grease your hands

Ingredients – Beijinho Filling or Grape Jam:

  • Green seedless grapes (1 unit per treasure)

Finishing ingredients:

  • Crystalline sugar

PREPARATION:

  1. From the recipe for 4 people you get about 30 units of about 30g (with grapes inside).
  2. Separate recipe ingredients and utensils.
  3. For this recipe you need medium-sized molds: the sugared almonds are a little bigger to wrap the grapes.

PREPARATION:

Beijinho or grape candy – Dough:

  1. Put all the ingredients (condensed milk, coconut milk, shredded coconut and butter) in a pan.
  2. Put on low heat and mix with a spatula, scraping the bottom and sides of the pan well so as not to stick and burn.
  3. When the mixture has thickened and has reached the point of curling up (to find out if it is at the right point, tilt the pan a little and see if the mixture detaches from the bottom), turn off the heat.
  4. Transfer the kiss to a lightly greased serving plate or side dish, cover with plastic wrap and leave to cool at room temperature.
  5. Take it to freeze for 2 hours.

Beijinho or Candy Grape – Roll:

  1. Wash the grapes and dry them.
  2. Open the paper cups.
  3. Place the granulated sugar for the finish in a bowl or deep dish.
  4. Grease your hands with a light layer of butter.
  5. Take a portion of the dough (about 1 teaspoon or 20 g) and form a disk in the palm of your hand.
  6. Place a grape in the center and roll it up to form a ball, making sure that all the grapes are involved.
  7. Roll the grape candy ball in the crystalline sugar and place it in the moulds.
  8. Repeat the operation with the rest of the dough.

FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Store beijinho or grape candy in the refrigerator.
  2. Remove from the refrigerator 1 hour before serving.
