For the second consecutive year, Pizza da Mooca, Leggera and QT Pizza Bar stood out in the international ranking

Brazilian pizza, once again, has gained international recognition. Three pizzerias in Sao Paulo included among the 100 best in the world, according to the 2023 selection of the international award 50 best pizzas. This year QT Pizza Bar appeared in the ranking as 51st best, A Pizza da Mooca in 85th place and, finally, Leggera Pizza Napoletana in 100th place.
The three houses had already appeared in the 2022 ranking, albeit in different positions. Last year QT Pizza Bar was in 99th place, A Pizza da Mooca in 77th and Leggera in 83rd.
“We are very happy to participate again in the most important award in the world of pizza, to be here and be part of this selected group. and even more so to see our work recognized for the second consecutive year. Our work is incessant and we will continue to fight for ever bigger positions”, said Fellipe Zanuto, partner, chef and manager of A Pizza da Mooca.
The best pizzas in the world
This year two pizzerias shared first place. Pizzeria 10 Diego Vitagliano which, according to the ranking, has a “light and very digestible, expertly stuffed and perfectly balanced” pizza; and I Masanielli, “an unmissable pizza prepared at three temperatures: steamed, fried and baked”, completes the international ranking.
