Pressure seasoned rice recipe

Time: 10 minutes

Performance: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 seedless tomato chopped
  • 1/2 chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 yellow pepper chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked and chopped meat
  • 3 cups parboiled raw rice
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • Salt and chopped parsley to taste

Preparation method:

  1. In a pressure cooker, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the tomatoes, peppers, meat, rice and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add water and adjust salt.
  4. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes, over low heat, once the pressure has started.
  5. Turn off the heat, let the pressure release naturally, open the pan, add the parsley and serve immediately.
