In the 470 years of the city of São Paulo, the programming of Football Museum it will be different (but with… football).
Located in the Pacaembu Stadium, the space will host activities for the whole family, such as a football presentation with Brazilian champion Letícia Silva, an exhibition of old toys and games in the outdoor area.
In “Toy Football,” visitors will delve into childhood in this exhibit with analog toys, such as the soccer ball, Aquaplay and Super Trunfo, FIFA World Cup mascots, and rare toys collected by collectors and fans, such as a King doll Pele, 1958.
The collection also includes classic children’s publications, such as an album of stickers from the 1970 World Cup, the Manual do Zé Carioca, published by Editora Abril for the 1974 men’s World Cup, and the Pelezinho Special Edition Magazine: 50 Years of Pelé, published in nineteen ninety.
“The exhibition recovers this game, creating a table between the affective memory of the elderly and the presentation of games unknown to the younger ones”, explains the curator Marcelo Duarte.
