According to the portal GZHAdroaldo, a resident of Cirático (RS), and four other friends volunteered to help the flood victims in the municipality of Muçum, but, upon returning, the man fell from the bed of a truck and hit his head on ground, suffering serious injuries.
The volunteer was hospitalized in Lajeado. There, he underwent tests and a procedure known as a decompressive craniotomy, to try to reduce the swelling in his skull. Since Thursday the 9th he has been without sedatives, but he hasn’t woken up yet. The electroencephalogram carried out on Tuesday 14th, to re-evaluate the evolution of the clinical picture, highlighted minimal brain activity.
