That year, Rafaela began receiving an average of R$6,000 a night from gambling, money that came “easily.” The young woman from São Paulo had just come of age and moved from the interior of São Paulo, where she lived with her parents, to Minas Gerais.
In Minas he started working with adult content platforms. “I started working with adult content and made a lot of money,” he told the magazine Maria Chiara.
It was on the adult platform that Rafaela saw the advertisement for the airplane game and decided to try her luck for the first time. At first he earned 1,000 to 2,000 reais a week from gambling. But, over time, what was a profit became a loss.
At the height of her addiction, Rafaela abandoned her career as an adult content creator and began betting only on the game of planezinho, which became her only source of income. In two months he saved R$35,000, but ended up losing everything on new bets. Having said this he returned to his parents’ home in São Paulo.
Her father tried to help her and even lent Rafaela R$4,000. He bet the amount and, of the initial amount, only R$50 remained.
In mid-November 2023 the addiction reached its peak. Rafaella returned to Minas Gerais and began threatening friends and parents in order to receive money to gamble. He took sleeping pills and when he woke up he just wanted to play. And so it was until December.
The situation only changed when her mother picked her up and brought her back to the interior of São Paulo. And so he began a treatment journey with a psychologist and a psychiatrist.
After undergoing treatment, the influencer hasn’t played for almost a year. However, to this day he suffers from gambling withdrawal. “Sometimes my body ‘tingles’, even trembles. It’s a horrible feeling. When I started losing money, I had a problem with my nerves and I was shaking. During withdrawal I also had stomach pain, headache, burning sensation in my stomach, among other horrible things,” he concluded.
