Jelly donut
Time: 2 hours (+30 minutes of rest)
Performance: 15 servings
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients:
- 30g of organic yeast
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 3 cups (tea) of warm water
- Approximately 1 kg of wheat flour
- Margarine and wheat flour for greasing
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
Filling:
- 1 jar of gelatin (400 g)
Preparation method:
- In a blender, blend the dough ingredients except the flour and place them in a bowl.
- Add the flour little by little until it sticks to your hands as you knead.
- Let rise for 20 minutes or until it has doubled in volume.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, spread the jelly and roll up like a roll.
- Place in a greased and floured 40cm diameter cake tin and use a knife to make cuts in the dough so that the jelly appears.
- Brush with the egg yolk and leave to rise for 10 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned.
