The Airbnb survey highlights the municipality of the northern coast of San Paolo as the only Brazilian representative on the list
Thehabela, on the northern coast of San Paolo, has been recognized as one of the 10 most romantic destinations in the world, according to an Airbnb survey. The study has analyzed guests’ assessments in the last 10 years, highlighting the cities often described as romantic.

About 210 kilometers from the state capital, Ilhabela enchants visitors with over 40 beaches, paths, waterfalls and diving options and boat trips. The Ilhabela State Park covers about 85% of the archipelago, preserving over 80% of the local Atlantic forest.
Known as National Candle Capital, Ilhabela also stands out for the sighting of whales between May and November, as well as being a popular destination for couples looking for romantic experiences.
The Municipality is part of Rota Verde Azul together with Alegra Dos Reis (RJ), Paraty (RJ) and Ubatuba (SP), forming a corridor with over 2,000 beaches between San Paolo and Rio de Janeiro.
Ilhabela is the only Brazilian destination in the Airbnb ranking, which also includes Riomaggiore, Italy, famous by the love via and cities such as Austin and Sedona in the United States and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
