Actress Lisa Moryak told Gazeta.Ru that she does not plan to take a break from her career because of her pregnancy. Moryak, wife of director Sarik Andreasyan, is now expecting her third child.
The star of "Life Line" said that despite her condition, she continues working actively and has no plans to stop. Moryak said no one has the right to criticize a woman who chooses not to go on maternity leave.
Moryak said she has not dropped out of filming, explaining that a body double stands in for full-length shots. She said pregnancy is not an illness, adding that a woman should not be criticized for acting in films and that it should instead be a source of pride. She said people deserve great respect for finding the strength to come to set and work while pregnant, and that she goes to the set calmly and acts just as she did before becoming pregnant, without thinking about her belly.
Due date and family
Moryak's expected due date is September. It became known in May that she is expecting a boy. Andreasyan and Moryak are already raising two daughters, Elizabeth and Charlize. The producer also has sons, Mark and Martin, from a previous marriage.
