Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi has officially announced his Mar Infinito World Tour 2027, a global concert series scheduled to launch in Puerto Rico on February 20, 2027.
The tour will begin at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, with ticket sales opening tomorrow through ticketera.com.
Following the opening concert in his homeland, Fonsi will perform in cities across Europe, Latin America, North America, and Asia. Additional dates and locations will be announced weekly on his social media accounts starting today.

Fonsi, a multiple Latin Grammy Award winner and one of Latin music's most recognized international figures, has built a career spanning over two decades. He gained global acclaim with international chart-toppers including his record-breaking hit Despacito.
Personal meaning behind the tour name
The tour title, Mar Infinito, stems from a connection that Fonsi describes as both personal and universal. Just as the ocean connects continents, the singer views music as the vehicle that allows him to carry his songs across the globe and build bonds with audiences from diverse cultures.
Both the ocean and the stage have long served as Fonsi's happy places. The word mar, meaning sea in Spanish, holds extra significance for the artist, who has the letters tattooed on his body as a tribute to the initials of his wife, Águeda, and his children, Mika and Rocco.

Fonsi explained that the sea had always been an integral part of his life. He noted that growing up in Puerto Rico meant living close to the ocean, feeling it, respecting it, and understanding that something always lay beyond the horizon.
He added that the name Mar Infinito represented his current state of mind, reflecting the journey he had taken so far, what remained to be discovered, and the special excitement of returning home to share the experience with his local audience.
The major concert announcement comes as Fonsi expands his creative pursuits, including starring as the lead actor in the romantic comedy film Say a Little Prayer.
Recent chart success and radio hits
The tour announcement comes during a high point in Fonsi's music career, having placed two songs at number one on radio charts this year. The success highlights his artistic versatility, transitioning between emotional ballads and high-energy dance tracks.
His single Cambiaré reached number one on Billboard's Latin Airplay and Tropical Airplay charts, as well as topping list positions across multiple countries. His latest release, Me Despido, reached the top spot on radio charts in Argentina and Chile within just three weeks of its release.
Career-spanning setlist and stage production
The upcoming tour is billed as the most ambitious of Fonsi's career. The show will feature a wide-ranging setlist celebrating different eras of his discography, bringing together songs that have resonated across generations.
Fans can expect performances of classic hits such as Imagíname Sin Ti, Quisiera Poder Olvidarme de Ti, Aquí Estoy Yo, No Me Doy por Vencido, Corazón en la Maleta, Échame la Culpa, Despacito, Date la Vuelta, Imposible, and Calypso, alongside his latest chart-toppers Cambiaré and Me Despido.
To support the extensive setlist, the concert series will feature large-scale staging, state-of-the-art technology, a specialized lighting setup, and large-format audiovisual elements engineered to bring each song into a new dimension on stage.
