Lynne Spears shared photos from a summer with her grandchildren, but her daughter Britney Spears and grandsons Jayden and Sean Federline were absent.
The 71-year-old uploaded a series of pictures on Monday documenting her seasonal outings with her extended family.

She captioned her social media update: "Closing out a sweet sweet summer filled with making memories with all of my grandbabies, family, & friends. My heart is full!"

Representatives for both Lynne Spears and Britney Spears were contacted by The Daily Mail for comment, but neither party has responded.
Summer Trips and Family Celebrations
Lynne spent time with her family on the beach and attended major milestones with her younger grandchildren, including Maddie, 18, Ivey, eight, and Lexie, 15.

Her summer schedule included watching her 18-year-old granddaughter Maddie graduate from high school.

She also celebrated her eight-year-old granddaughter Ivey's First Holy Communion.

In addition to the graduation and religious milestone, Lynne attended the X-Games alongside her 35-year-old daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Jamie Lynn's children.
Lynne also enjoyed a lunch date with her 15-year-old granddaughter Lexie, who is the daughter of her son Bryan Spears.

Paris Fashion Week Runway Shout-Outs
Britney's sons, 19-year-old Jayden Federline and 20-year-old Sean Federline, were not pictured in any of the family get-togethers.
However, Lynne made sure to include photos showcasing her grandsons' summer adventures in Europe.

Her post included pictures of Jayden and Sean walking the runway at the Vetements show during Paris Fashion Week in June.

She also featured a photograph of Jayden taking in the Parisian sights at the Eiffel Tower with his "beautiful girlfriend."

Past Accusations of Secret Family Outings
The new family photos come after Britney previously criticized her parents for spending time with her children "in secret" years earlier.
Britney shared her frustrations about being restricted by her father Jamie Spears while her parents saw her children without her.
"The whole summer … I look back now and I remember my dad not letting me go to a diner ever again to eat a hamburger with a new extremely cool friend I had found cuz all the attention I got from the paps after being held in my home for 4 months offended him," Britney vented online.
"The pictures I saw of my mom and dad in secret on the beach the whole summer with my children every weekend … I wondered why I wasn't a part of their cool secret outings," she wrote.
"I felt demoralized to live in a country where it was accepted for people like my mom and dad to live secret lives with my children … It was demoralizing," Britney added, stating: "I honestly went to my knees and cried for two months."
A Long History of Strained Relations
Britney has long experienced a "complicated" relationship with her mother, with efforts made over the years to mend the rift.

A source claimed to Page Six in September of last year that "Their relationship is very fragile."
The insider stated at the time that "[Lynne] reaches out to Britney for the most part," adding that the two "talk and text every few weeks."
The source also noted in September that there were no imminent plans for the mother and daughter to hold a face-to-face reunion.
The relationship hit its lowest point around 2021, when Britney claimed that although her father oversaw her restrictive conservatorship for years, her mother allegedly suggested creating the arrangement.
"I will never get those years back," Britney said in 2021, claiming her mother "secretly ruined my life."
Despite past anger, Britney has also voiced a desire to reconcile with her mother.
"After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it !!" Britney posted to Instagram in 2022.
The two notably reunited in 2023, appearing together in a photograph on a couch.
Marriage, Custody, and Legal Battles
Britney shares her two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she married in 2004.

The couple welcomed their two sons shortly after marrying before ending their relationship three years later.
Britney filed for divorce in November 2006, just eight weeks after giving birth to their second child, and the divorce was finalized in July 2007 with the parents agreeing to split custody of their young children.
In February 2008, Britney was placed under a court-ordered conservatorship following a series of public mental health crises, hospitalizations, and intense media scrutiny.
She was largely controlled by her father during that time.
The conservatorship ended 13 years later in November 2021 following pressure from the #FreeBritney movement, Jamie's suspension as conservator, and Britney's own court testimony detailing abuse suffered under her father's control.
