American singer Madonna celebrated her 68th birthday on the Greek island of Corfu on August 16, wearing an ornate Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda couture dress for the occasion.
The pop star marked her birthday alongside five of her children and her partner, Akeem Morris. Days later, she shared photos of the Mediterranean trip on Instagram, showing family dinners, traditional plate smashing, dancing, and high-fashion outfits.
For one of the major celebrations, Madonna chose the Bartolomea dress from the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda 2026 collection. The Italian fashion house had unveiled the line just weeks earlier in July during a runway show in Taormina, Sicily.
The Alta Moda show in Taormina drew inspiration from Sicilian nature and Mediterranean craftsmanship. Madonna brought one of the collection's standout designs to the Greek island of Corfu barely a month after its runway debut.
The ankle-length organza dress features intricate sequin work forming floral patterns set against Baroque-inspired ornaments. Handcrafted three-dimensional flowers made from duchess satin and sparkling crystals cover the garment.
Floral Headpiece and Fine Jewelry
Madonna styled the dress with a large headpiece made of fuchsia flowers set over her wavy blonde hair, evoking a Mediterranean goddess look tailored to the Greek island setting.
She paired the outfit with a floral necklace from Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Gioielleria high jewelry collection. The piece features tanzanite, morganite, aquamarine, and rhodolite garnet, anchored by a South Sea pearl and set in gold details.
The singer completed the look with multiple gold bracelets and golden stilettos embellished with brilliants. She later changed into a second outfit, opting for a more relaxed white lace dress with a lingerie aesthetic while keeping her heavy jewelry.
