Peruvian race car driver Mario Hart revealed why he never remarried Venezuelan model Korina Rivadeneira after a court annulled their civil marriage in 2021. Speaking on Magaly Medina's podcast following the end of their relationship, Hart said official legal documents had no impact on how they viewed their marriage.
Hart said Medina asked him why they never chose to remarry by civil ceremony despite being deeply in love. He explained that the court annulment meant nothing to them because they already considered themselves husband and wife. According to the host of the Sin mas que decir podcast, the judicial ruling was simply a document and internally they still felt married.
Hart added that the court decision never put their union at risk or changed how they recognized each other as a family. He said the couple also discussed having a religious wedding in due time, but that plan remained paused and ultimately never took place before they separated after several years together and two children.
Civil marriage annulment in Huaral
The couple originally married in a civil ceremony in Huaral on April 21, 2017. The Huaral Family Court annulled the marriage in November 2021 after finding irregularities in the sworn affidavits of residence submitted during the application process. Hart insisted that the legal decision did not affect the daily life he shared with Rivadeneira.
The singer of Yo no fui also admitted that he cried in secret after their relationship ended. The former Esto es Guerra participant said he suffered greatly from the breakup and kept his tears hidden from Rivadeneira. His interview comes weeks after he confirmed rumors that their marriage was over.
