Hair therapy treats hair diseases or imbalances by preventing and maintaining scalp health

Hair Therapy is a concept that emerged in England in the early 20th century and aims to study scalp diseases. This concept has spread all over the world and is gaining more and more fans.

In the past, service in salons was standardized and all clients received the same beauty procedures, regardless of the condition of their hair. With the new therapy, professionals began to study the real needs of each person and to propose suitable treatments.

The therapist Pietro Trindade, creator of humanized capillary therapy, points out that one of the advantages of this technique is to treat capillary diseases or imbalances by preventing and maintaining the health of the scalp with the use of herbal cosmetics and the use of essential oils.

Incidentally, a study published in 2021 on the Global Platform of Scientific Studies pubmed.gov demonstrated that the use of essential oils both in cosmetic products (industrial application) and in those associated with carrier oils (as individual protocols) can lead to satisfactory results in the treatment of some scalp disorders. The study, which has among its authors the Indian researcher Narayan Prasad Yadavit also shows that there is a growing demand for herbal cosmetics in the global market.

The use of essential oils is a natural way to take care of hair and scalp health and is one of the methods applied within the Humanized Capillary Therapy process. This therapy uses essential and vegetable oils to treat certain lesions of the scalp and hair. Some types of oils stimulate blood circulation, fight hair loss, have an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, healing, soothing action, among other benefits that act directly on the problem, providing a feeling of healing and well-being.

According to Pietro Trindade, “humanized practice is a process in which the therapist must also be energetically prepared to take care of a person’s image or simply to produce a moment of relaxation in the salon or spa”. Pietro argues that the professional has a differentiated awareness in the approaches and in the way he touches the client, prepares the transformation or the special moment of the service.

The creator of Humanized Capillary Therapy also highlights the sensory experience that the therapist will deliver to the client and the care in the choice of products in the pre and post service. “The problem is not having so many products, but having the right products. A single drop of essential oil can make all the difference in the benefits for the body”, explains Pietro.

Pietro Trindade is the brand’s media ambassador for Latin America and Europe D’Arc Professional and will be at the beauty fair Beautiful, together with the beautician Prof. SM. From 9 to 12 September, at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, PhD student Robson Trindade demonstrated the use and power of dermocosmetics and Humanized Hair Therapy for hair health and beauty.

The event takes place every year in the capital São Paulo and brings together many brands of the beauty market.
