Benoit sets critical evidence on fire
At the police station, Victoire explains to Georges and Karim that Benoit has two DNAs. In genetics, this is called a chimera. As part of leukemia treatment, Benoit underwent a bone marrow transplant. However, it is the bone marrow that produces blood cells. Therefore, his blood does not have his DNA, but the blood of his donor. In other words, Benoit’s blood does not have the same DNA as his saliva. By signing his murders with a drop of blood, the professor knew full well that the police would never be able to trace him because investigators always test DNA with a saliva test.
During this time, Benoit informs Prosecutor Perot that Emma Garnier threatened him with a knife and accuses the police of putting it in his head. As the investigators have been after him for weeks, he threatens to contact the press and tell them everything he is going through. That’s why Sebastian promises to call his teams in order.
In the process, the prosecutor is visited by Karim, who claims that they have serious leadership.
Not far from there, Victoire informs Lisa of her discovery. Convinced that Karim has obtained authorization from the prosecutor to take a blood sample from Benoit, and compared to what is found at the crime scene, Victoire is more certain than ever that the investigation is nearing completion, but above all, Benoit is quickly falling behind. bars. A relief for Lisa, who shed a few tears.
Unfortunately, Prosecutor Perot refuses to authorize the blood sample. Indeed, Sebastian does not want to risk another fiasco. So he asks Kareem to bring him proof and concrete material elements without giving Benoit new reasons to complain to the press.
Bruno, on the other hand, is waiting for Nathan at the spoon because he wants to know if his son is going to be prosecuted for the story of receiving smartphones. A teenager complains only because his father drinks beer. The tone quickly rises between them. Benoit, sitting at the counter, doesn’t miss a scrap of this exchange. Additionally, she takes advantage of Nathan’s arrival at work to question Mona about their relationship. The chef at The Spoon confirms to him that Bruno kicked his son out when he was 17 and he continues to ruin his life. Hearing this, Benoit looks at Nathan, then nods with a smile.
Afterwards, Benoit goes to the hospital where he has an appointment with Marianne to check on. Looking into his patient’s case, Dr. Delcourt discovers that Victoire has approached him as well. If Marianne thinks it’s a mistake, Benoit realizes it wasn’t and leaves the firm in a hurry. Then he goes home and collects gasoline cans.
At the police station, Sarah, Karim and Georges look for a detour to get Benoit’s blood back. Convinced that there are still traces of blood in the basement where he was held by Lisa, they scour the area to collect samples. When they arrive, it is already late and Benoit has already set the cellar on fire…
Charlie points out that I’m with Soyzik
Charlie goes to the hospital to clear things up with Soizic. If she admits that they had a wonderful story, Charlie informs her that it is now a thing of the past. So she advises him to stop his foolishness.
Soizic then joins Victoire to discuss the case of a pregnant patient. Although Dr. Lazar is convinced that his colleague rejects all these ideas, he is surprised when Soizic states that he wants to follow his protocol. And what can be said that Soizic is especially beautiful. Not only does he listen to Amelie, but he also volunteers the night shift to help his colleagues.
William, who knew him a little, joins Soizic a little later to find out what is wrong. She then confides that she has made a declaration of love to Francois, but the latter rejects her. Moreover, if Soizic is in so much pain, it is because he thought that the story between François and Charlie was temporary and that he would eventually return. Now she realizes that her relationship with Francois is truly over. When William advises him to be open to new meetings, Soizic replies that he has neither the strength nor the desire.
Rafael and Martin are honest with each other
Chloe visits Rafaele in the morning. An opportunity for a lawyer to cause Martin’s little lie to see him. If Rafael finds the cop particularly bloated, Chloe reminds him that she at least faked a pool accident to get him home. Since they’ve been hanging out for weeks, he suggests inviting her to lunch to break the ice.
Later, Martin and Rafael are at the spoon and it’s a good atmosphere. In turn, they admit that they lied to see each other.
At the end of lunch, Martin and Rafael walk through the streets of Seti. The latter then offers to see him again quickly for another lunch, but the cop is going on a trip for a few weeks to decompress. As he bids her farewell, Martin intends to kiss her, but eventually changes his mind. It must be said that he noticed that every time he approached, he held back. Rafael acknowledges this and then elaborates that their past love stories have marked them more than they think. Finding it a shame to stop there, Martin promises to come back, at his own pace and on his terms, to see her again. After accepting, Raphael kisses the corner of her lip before wishing her a happy holiday.
At the end of the day, Rafael joins Chloe, and then tells about his meeting with Martin. Although she regrets that things are not smooth sailing between them, Chloe is confident that they will be once they get over this roadblock. In the process, Rafael receives a message from Martin, who hopes to see him when he returns. Without waiting, Rafael answers her and even offers to pick her up on his motorcycle on the way back. Only, the spell checker replaces the word “search” with “lick”. Before Rafael dies of shame, Martin calls him to calm him down.
