What would be curious is that ‘Super Mario Bros. The Movie’ reached the film that ranks number 5 on that list with 1,159 million. ‘The Minions’, like ‘Super Mario Bros. The Movie’, are produced by Illumination Entertainment, a studio that until now had gone unnoticed, despite its successful Gru franchise against giants like Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks. Of course, with these two of his works in the historical top, no one is going to forget about them again.
