The KION online cinema will host the premiere of the comedy “Baby Tour” written by Vasily Sigarev

An original comedy series about how four friends from the Russian outback decided to go on a baby tour will premiere at the KION online cinema on June 1. The script was written by playwright and director Vasily Sigarev, who worked on the projects “Land of Oz”, “Top” and “To Live”. The director of the project was Fedor Stukov.

The main characters of the series “Baby tour” work at a local poultry farm in the village of Livni. Lively and purposeful Zinaida (Anastasia Popova) earns extra money selling cosmetics. Zina learns from a client that if a child is born in America, he will automatically receive US citizenship. Zina tells her shy friend Tanya (Lina Mirimskaya), sister Gela (Anna Kotova) and young Kira (Maria Osipova), a daring informal woman with a huge mohawk, about this.

Zina invites everyone to get pregnant together and chip in for a baby tour – it’s cheaper to give birth together. Ahead of the heroines are adventures and trials: after all, they need not only to figure out how and where to make a lot of money, but also to find potential fathers. Husbands and other men in the village are not eager to participate in this dubious, from their point of view, event.

First of all, I was attracted to the project by the script of Vasily Sigarev – the opportunity to tell a poignant and very funny story. All the characters are recognizable, their motivations are clear. All I had to do was not mess it up. I believe that the audience will be hooked by the story of four “simple Russian women” in pursuit of their common dream. These are four musketeers from the outback – one for all and all for one, – says director Fyodor Stukov.
