Stephen King has his own theory about ‘From’, one of the best series you can see today.
‘From’ continues to attract loyal followers in the shadow of other more popular series like ‘Succession’. The show, for some time already one of the best mystery and suspense series on HBO Max, broadcasts its second season weekly and many have compared it to one of the best series of all time: ‘Lost’.

But, as we’ve already said on occasion, ‘From’ is more than the terrifying version of ‘Lost’, and more and more people are realizing it and falling for it. Among them the very master of terror Stephen King, who has been just as trapped with the series as the characters who cannot escape the town that holds them prisoner.
After watching the third episode of ‘From’ season 2, titled ‘Tether’, the acclaimed supernatural horror writer Stephen King expressed his support for the series’ writers and creators for being able to handle its intriguing premise in such a satisfying way.. King also shared his own theory about the mysteries surrounding the characters, as well as a genuine reaction to one of the most shocking scenes on HBO Max so far.
FROM: I’m three episodes in. Wonderful concept, beautifully handled. Is it possible these people are dead and don’t know it?
That spike through the head…holy cow.— Stephen King (@StephenKing) May 22, 2023
“FROM: I have three episodes. Wonderful concept, beautifully managed. Is it possible that these people are dead and don’t know it? That spike in the head… Oh my gosh.”
It should be noted that the main plot of ‘From’, in which several characters are trapped in a town in the middle of nowhere without really knowing why, also has its similarities with ‘The Dome’, a novel by Stephen King himself which was also adapted to the television series format.
But the protagonists of ‘From’, in addition to being trapped in a spatial loop, have to deal with hordes of wild and murderous creatures that invade the city when the sun goes down every day.

Is it another dimension? An experiment by some secret technological society? Are they all dead? There are many theories about where these people are from, where the monsters come from, and how long has this city been running, and King has already chosen his. Which is yours?
The episodes of the second season of ‘From’, one of the best suspense series to get hooked on, are broadcast weekly on HBO Max Spain every Friday from April 28.
