The Menufilm directed by Mark Mylod and starring Anya Taylor-Joywon an intense trailer this Wednesday, 1. The preview shows the first glimpses of the plot, focused on a suspicious and bizarre dinner commanded by the character of Ralph Fiennes.
The film accompanies margot (Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult), young couple who travel to a distant island to eat at an exclusive restaurant, where Chef Slowik (Fiennes) prepared a hearty menu, with some shocking surprises, such as a clapping kitchen staff. Watch the trailer below:

the cast of The Menu also has names like Janet McTeer, Aimee Carrero, John Leguizamo, Judith Light and Hong Chau. In the United States, the film opens on November 18, 2022. However, the horror film does not have a release date in Brazilian theaters.
Anya Taylor-Joy: Before Last Night in Sohoactress auditioned for another Edgar Wright film
Before being cast to interpret Sandee in Last Night in Soho (2021), Anya Taylor-Joy auditioned to work on In Escape Rhythm (2017), another film directed by Edgar Wrightaccording to information from Variety. The actress stars in the production alongside Thomasin McKenzie.
“I read the script In Escape Rhythm and took the test,” revealed Taylor-Joy The Variety at the premiere of Last Night in Soho at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, In Los Angeles. “I was a big fan [do cineasta].” Right away, Wright explained how he remembers the audition, but was “happy we’re doing the other feature instead.”
As the website pointed out, the director approached the actress for the first time about Last Night in Soho around 2015, after seeing her performance in The witchsuccess of Robert Eggersat the Sundance Film Festival. “He was a judge in the sundance and I was really impressed,” said the artist. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, Edgar Wright want to talk to me!’ He didn’t plan on telling me about the story, but we got along so well that he told me.”
“I didn’t have a script. I just had the story, but I thought, ‘She should be the lead in my movie. soho.’ I met her for coffee in Los Angeles and told her the whole plot of the film. She was like, ‘I want to be a part of this,'” continued Wright in the interview with Variety.
However, the filmmaker initially thought how Anya Taylor-Joy would interpret Eloisebut the role eventually became Thomasin McKenzie. Taylor-Joy interprets Sandeean aspiring 1960s singer in London, who Eloise sees in dreams – as well as nightmares.
“Over the years, I started to sound like the boy who screamed wolf whenever he found Anya,” said Edgar Wright, laughing. “As I started writing the script and saw a lot of the other movies, I started to think about how she could be the right one for me. Sandee. When I finally submitted the script, she happily agreed.”
Dreams really do come true. From the imagination of @EdgarWright, #LastNightInSoho is only in theaters October 29.
