The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Artur Lira (PP-AL) said that the first week of July should be one of the most important for the elaboration of the measures supported by the government in the National Congress.
In an interview with journalists after a meeting with the Finance Minister, Fernando Haddad, in which tax reform was mainly discussed, Lira explained that the vote on the subject is still scheduled for the first week of next month and that he intends to have an “intensive week” to also evaluate the proposed tax framework, in case the expectation that the matter will return to the House is confirmed.
