On Sunday night (25), a 32-year-old woman was killed by her former partner in Pejuçara, Rio Grande do Sul. The victim was taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment. The Military Brigade has been activated and has started a search for the suspect.
The suspect was found in a workshop and, sensing the approach of the garrison, tried to get rid of an object which was later identified as a .36 caliber pistol with ammunition. Also present at the scene was another man, the father of the suspect, who tried to hide an object under a vehicle, which turned out to be a loaded .38 revolver. Both were taken to the Pronto Attendencia Police Headquarters to have the incident recorded. The suspect was sent to Cruz Alta State Prison due to the deletion of the garrucha numbering, while the father was released on bail.
According to the Civil Police, the woman was hit by seven shots, four in the left foot, two in the right hand and one in the left hand, which drove six bullets into her body.
