Coming as a mix of what would happen if Harry Potter was sorted into the wrong Hogwarts house and the kind of fairytale setting Disney experienced Once upon a time Yes Descendants, The school of good and evil portrays Paul Feig delivering his version of heroes, villains and happy ending. As if by magic, the first trailer of the film is available as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week …
Adapted from Soman Chainani’s best-selling book series, our story begins in the town of Gavaldon, where two misfits and best friends, Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie), share the most unlikely bonds. Fairytale lover Sophie dreams of escaping normal village life, while Agatha, with her dark aesthetic, has the characteristics of a real witch. Then one night, under a blood-red moon, a powerful force draws them to the School of Good and Evil, where the true story of all the great fairy tales begins.
But something goes wrong from the start: Sophie is sent to the school of evil, led by the charming and sour Lady Lesso (Charlize Theron), and Agatha to the school of good, supervised by the cheerful and kind Professor Dovey (Kerry. Washington) .
As if navigating classes with Cinderella’s children Captain Hook and King Arthur’s stepson (Jamie Flatters) wasn’t hard enough, according to the teacher (Laurence Fishburne), only the kiss of true love can change the rules and send girls to school that matches them. But when a dark and dangerous character (Kit Young) with mysterious ties to Sophie reappears and threatens to completely destroy the school and the rulebook, the only way to have a happy ending is to survive the fairy tale first.

The school of good and evil written by Feig along with Vanessa Taylor and David Magee, will arrive on Netflix later this year.
