Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Monday, August 21, 2023 episode recap [SPOILERS]

The security guard admits

Alice and Ian interrogate the security guard again and tell him about the various construction sites where he must have come across victims who worked there. The agent maintains his version of events and claims he did not know the victim. Ellis then tells him that Stefan Maroli was suspected of stealing copper from the building site. He is sure that he heard about it and that he himself was connected to this traffic.

Ellis returns to the security guard’s phone to talk, and reveals that the fads on his cell phone prove he was in contact with Marol six times in the week before her death. The security guard bursts in and admits to Ian and Elise that it was an accident.

Margo spotted three apartments she wanted to visit with Ludo. He hands his cell phone to Bilal to show photos of the apartment that ticks all the boxes. At the same time, a text message from Akim appears on the phone screen asking Margo to call and talk about what happened. Bilal questions her, then hands the phone back to Margot and tells her that she got a message from work. Margo reads the message and looks at Bilal, very embarrassed.

Margot then calls Akim and berates him for sending this type of message. Bilal ran into him, but it might as well have been Ludo. Akim confides in Margot that Bilal knows everything, and assures her that she has nothing to worry about, her brother won’t say anything. Margot hopes she hasn’t told anyone else about it, and Akim doesn’t dare tell her that he took Elise on her own. The young policeman then insists that they talk. Margot agrees and offers to meet him after work.

Margot finds Akim who tells her he is thinking about her and leaves Noemi. He adds that he wants to be with her. But Margo replies that she is fine with Ludo and is not going to leave him. Akim tells her when he is convinced that Ludo doesn’t love her and that he still has feelings for Noemi. Distraught, Margot asks Akim to shut up. He assures her that he means nothing to her, then leaves in tears.

Back at her roommate, Margot finds Noemi and Ludo sitting in the living room. Ludo invited Noemi to dinner to open his mind. Margo observes the complicity between them, again with tears in her eyes. Ludo can see that he is upset, but Margo assures him that everything is fine.

Virgil asks Manu to be his witness

Alix, who has spent the night on the boat, is frustrated because she cannot be intimate with Virgil because Tom is sleeping next door. While Virgil asks Alix to wait another two weeks, Tom arrives and collapses on a chair. To get some alone time with his wife-to-be, Virgil asks the teenager to go buy water and soft drinks for the mini-bars on the rented sailboats.

A moment between Virgil and Alix is ​​interrupted by a call from Helen, who informs her friend that a client sent by Claudine is waiting for them at the gallery. Alix is ​​forced to run away.

Back in the boat with the groceries, Tom smiles and asks Virgil if he’s had enough time with Alix. The teenager is well aware that her boss wanted to spend time with her partner and explains that she could very well go to her sister’s house to leave them alone. Embarrassed, Virgil reminds her that she made a commitment to her mother to take care of her.

Later, Virgil calls Eva and Manu to tell them that he is going to marry Alix. Friends congratulate him and offer to celebrate. So Virgil finds Eve, Manu, and Victor for a drink. She takes the opportunity to ask Manu to be her witness. An excited Manu obviously agrees and informs his friend that he would like to throw him a bachelor party. But Virgil isn’t thrilled with the idea and informs Manu that he doesn’t prefer it. Eve is elsewhere, lost in thought.

Tom calls his mother to check on her. Natalie confides in him that she is a little sad and that she has been looking for this medicine for a long time. He asks his son to send him money so he can go away for a while. Tom is surprised that he didn’t think this was possible and tries to make sure his mother doesn’t need the money to gamble. Natalie swears it isn’t and repeats her request. He depends on it for the transfer. Tom hangs up and tenses up.

Alix joins Tom and immediately realizes that he is upset. Tom talks to him about his mother and tells him that she is not in a good mood. After that, Alix suggests that he take the next day off and go to Toulouse.

On the way back, Manu questions Eva. He sees that she is upset and asks if Virgil’s marriage is what worries her. Eva assures him that it is not so, she admires him. Seeing Manu asking questions, she reassures him at one point: she no longer has feelings for Virgil, he is the one she loves.
