The Beach Club Anauê is one of the best places to relax after returning from your trip, with bungalows, swimming pool, beach bar, restaurant with regional dishes and snacks and live music.
Saint Michael of Miracles
The city is quite small, but it is worth stopping for a pleasant walk. buggy. The route takes an average of an hour and a half, passing through Sítio do Coconha, located on the seafront. It preserves an original house from the fishing village that once existed on the site, where Mr. José (former fisherman) and Dona Hilda welcome tourists and tell, with light in their eyes, their love story, which has lasted for 36 years .

Maragogi is the most popular destination for tourists
The destination is the best known in the state among tourists. The various pools of warm, transparent water that form at low tide are sought after by travelers from all over the world. To access the area, transportation is by small boats and times change daily due to the tide table. The period of stay is a maximum of one hour, for reasons of protection of the coral reefs; so much so that, from time to time, the swimming pools visited are changed.
The experience is unique, with the water completely transparent around your waist. The space is divided by small schools of colorful fish. Photo guides take photos worthy of any album cover, with special underwater cameras. For those who want to experience the place even more it is possible to go scuba diving or simply observe the corals up close using mouthpiece. The city has a good infrastructure: in addition to natural pools and beaches, there are small biscuit factories and a zoo as attractions.
Try traditional biscuits
The biscuit factories are artisanal and operate in kitchens adapted from residential homes. One of the most famous in the city is Sister Marlene’s small factory, which produces cassava gum-based biscuits (in the southern region of Brazil they are known as sequilhos) in different sizes, with or without the addition of fresh coconut pulp. It employs more than six people and sells produce throughout the region.
Another traditional biscuit is the sweet and savory puff pastry and the “moedinha”, produced industrially by the company that bears the name of the city and which has a “company shop” at very attractive prices.
Ecopark Zoo
The Eco Park Zoo is another local attraction, where visitors can interact with some animals such as macaws and snakes, being able to touch them and take photos while holding them. There are more than 40 species exhibited in the spaces, such as flamingos, harpies, amphibians, alligators, monkeys, jaguars, tigers, among others.
About 80 percent of the animals came from seizures and rescues, while the rest came from farms and zoos. The visits are guided and the company is located in Beach of Peroba. The Maré Beach Club is a good stopping point for lunch and where buggy for walks.
Antunes Beach is known as the Brazilian Caribbean
Antunes Beach, known as the Brazilian Caribbean, is one of the most beautiful coasts in the Northeast. With a large chain of corals, it is 7 km from the center of Maragogi. Take the opportunity to take a tour jeep in the region and stay at least a few hours in Antunes.
In addition to its beauty, the beach contains some curiosities such as the Caminho de Moisés, a sandy isthmus that flows into the sea, where, at low tide, it is possible to reach the coral reef on foot. But you have to be careful, because if the tide rises, there is no way to return except by boat.
Along the sand there are several Instagrammable spots, such as decorated swings, structures made from coconut stalks that serve as a base for interesting photos, rafts, among others. But everything is paid for. Cheap, but paid for.
