The sexy series is as popular as it is criticized on Netflix: Élite is back on the platform for its seventh season. The eight new episodes of the Spanish fiction series created by Dario Madrona and Carlos Montero continue the failure of the students in Las Encinas, even if there are not many people left from the beginning of the series.
Always more intrigued, always smarter and always crazy, Elite is interested in this seventh season of domestic violence or even the reconstruction of a rape victim with the characters of Isadora (Valentina Zenere), Ivan (Andre Lamoglia), Sarah. (Carmen Arufat), Raul (Alex Pastrana), Didak (Alvaro de Juana), Nico (Ander Puig) and Sonia (Nadia Al Said).
But these new episodes also try to focus on mental health among young people, especially the character of Omar (Omar Ayuso), after his departure at the end of season 5.
Season 8 for Elite?
The Spanish series is once again returning to Netflix, and some subscribers, who are already tired of the 6th season on the Internet, are wondering if the adventures of the elite will continue for a long time, and the fans who are still asking.
Good (or bad, it depends) news! The Spanish fiction series has been renewed by Netflix for an eighth season, well in advance of Season 7’s release. The eighth batch of episodes began filming in August and will be available in 2024.
This update was not really a surprise, as the low-cost Élite still attracts as many subscribers. New additions to the cast have been announced, including Ann Roth (Killer Book Club) and Nuno Gallego (UPA Next).
But the big surprise comes from a surprise return: Mina El Hamman, who played Nadia, Omar’s sister, in the first seasons of Elite. The actress reprises her role, abandoned at the end of Season 3 when Nadia left Guzmán (Miguel Bernardo) to go to university in New York.
Mina El Hamani has already played her role in the 2021 movie Elite: Short Stories, which focuses on Nadia and Guzmán, in 3 mini-episodes in which the two lovers try a long-distance relationship before realizing it’s better to break up.
At the moment, no other information has been revealed about the 8th season of Élite, but Netflix has not informed us about the upcoming episodes of the Spanish series, which will be the last, as Netflix recently announced.
