The duo that won over audiences in “Barbie” returns to theaters soon with “Ocean’s Eleven.”
After great success of “Barbie”, the duo Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling won over the public with their joint performance and some assumptions arose that the duo could act together again in the prelude to “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001). However, this information has not yet been confirmed. Margot Robbie spoke about this issue during an interview on the red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
“This is still in development, so it’s not necessarily true. But we love working together and want to find something else to do together,” the actress told EntertainmentTonight.
Margot also revealed that, for now, she is not involved in any project as an actress. She spoke about her desire to take a break and step away from the media for a bit after the high exposure with “Barbie“.
“I think everyone is probably tired of seeing me. I should probably disappear from screens for a while,” Robbie told the deadline. All of her future projects, for now, are as a producer.
The film derived from “Eleven men and a secret” will be directed by Jay Roachwinner of four Emmys per “Game Changer” (2012) and “Until the end” (2016). Roach shared with AP News that the prequel will be set in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in 1962.
Described as a production “glamorous”this film will be the first in the series since “Eight Women and a Secret” (2018), the female version that featured a cast composed of Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson and Awkwafina.
