X-Men ’97, which follows the fifth season finale of the cartoon, which aired in 1997, is ever closer to becoming a reality and promises to drive fans crazy. The revival will premiere March 20 on the Disney+ streaming platform. Meanwhile, the production has acquired an unprecedented image with the names of each episode and the dates on which they will air.
Disney has announced the resumption of X-Men ’97 in 2021. Even if we are talking about an old animation, it will be the first from Marvel Studios to have mutants as protagonists.
In the new season, Magneto leads the X-Men (Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast, Jubilee, Storm, Gambit, Jean Gray and Rogue) after the death of Professor Xavier.
In total there will be ten episodes. The first two will air on March 20. After that, the interval between new chapters will be one week.
The end of the season is scheduled for May 15th. And according to the image released by Disney, the final part of the story should be exciting, since it will be divided into the last three episodes (Tolerance is Extinction, in Portuguese, will have parts 1, 2 and 3, which will air on 1, 8 and 15 May respectively).
