Chloe in warrior mode
Alex is anxiously waiting for Chloe to finish her first oral exam of the competition. When he leaves, his morale is at its lowest. And for good reason, he encountered nosocomial infections, although he does not understand the issue at all. He is sure that he failed the exam.
For the second oral, Chloe has to talk about her personal motivations. Once again, the jury is very strict and questions his professional instability. Contrary to all expectations, before the regulation time is over, the president of the jury announces: “We spent 12 minutes together, I think that’s enough. We all had a clear idea about your candidacy”.
Chloe leaves the room angrier than ever. The nursing student does not understand why she was deprived of three minutes of speaking time. She informed her husband and the latter said: “You’re not going to let these idiots win.”.
Following Alex’s valuable advice, Chloe returns to face the jury. He states: “Ordinary time is not over”, then tries to convince them that his new profession is not a fad, but a life project. It seems that his determination and courage are paying off.
Chloe and Axel meet in Spawn to celebrate this big win. Suddenly Mariana comes and announces that she came to drink coffee. She takes the opportunity to ask her daughter how her competition went. Alex replies that Chloe was a hit. Marian congratulates her daughter and leaves.
George will soon become a father
At Saint-Clair Hospital, Marian gets a call that the expectant mother is about to give birth. There is no other obstetrician present today, so he asks Soizic if he can take care of this patient. Dr. Vernet is surprised, he doesn’t understand why Marian is asking him the question because it’s his job.
A patient arrives on a stretcher, surrounded by several policemen. Soizic discovers that it is Vanessa, the killer who kidnapped him a few months ago. Despite everything, the gynecologist takes it upon herself and agrees to take care of her former predator.
After the examinations, Soizic informs Vanessa that she will give birth in a few hours. Suddenly Vanessa confides in him: “In your place, I also want revenge.” Soizic answers: “I’m thinking of your son because he doesn’t have to pay for your mistakes”. Vanessa then asks him for a favor: to warn Georges.
George, on the other hand, has a romantic lunch with his girlfriend, Melody. At the end of the day, as she leaves the police station, she gets a call from the hospital telling her that her baby is due soon. He is in shock.
He meets Martin and tells him the bad news. Martin tells him that he completely forgot about Vanesa, and Georges replies: “I stuck my head in the sand too, but it will come back to me”. Martin asks his colleague what he is going to do, and Georges declares: “nothing”.
A macabre discovery in the set
Early in the morning, Nathan calls his father to tell him that Charlotte is up. He lost all hope of seeing the young woman. Bruno tries to calm him down, but his words are not enough to calm his son down.
In turn, Aurora, Damien and Sara arrive at a new crime scene. The body of a 20-year-old woman was found in her home. That, of course, would be murder. Sarah asks who the victim is: it’s Charlotte Lages, Nathan’s girlfriend.
Sarah immediately goes to the spoon to tell the young man the sad news: “We found him at home, pronounced him dead.”
At Seth’s police station, Damien and Aurora try to figure out what could have happened. They believe Charlotte knew her attacker because there are no signs of a break-in at her home. Damien informs the captain that the murder happened in the evening. Charlotte was pushed violently, but without the intention of killing her. His computer was also stolen.
Later that day, Aurora questions the victim’s boyfriend. On the verge of tears, Nathan recounts the circumstances of their meeting. He claims that Charlotte did not like to talk about her personal life and had problems with her parents.
After some searching, Sara warns Avor that Charlotte’s family lives in Brest. The latter confided to him that their daughter was a teacher and that she was very close to them, visiting them regularly.
That’s not all: Charlotte was in a relationship with a certain Manu Blanchard for three years. According to the victim’s parents, the couple was very much in love. While at sea for several days, he could not attack his girlfriend. Aurora begins to believe that Nathan is the aggressor.
The police captain summons Nathan once more to confront him with the new facts. She tells him that Charlotte has had a boyfriend for a long time. Nathan is surprised. Aurora asks if anyone saw him the night of the murder, Nathan replies that he gave flowers to an old lady.
Nathan is furious when he realizes that he is suspected of murdering his girlfriend: “I didn’t do anything to Charlotte, I fell in love with her”. Aurora shows him photos of the body and asks: “So why did you do this to him?”. Nathan looks surprised and replies: “It’s not Charlotte”.
So why did Charlotte lie about her identity? Tomorrow will be ours to answer in the next episodes of the series.
