Anais goes to help David

David prepares to spend his first day away from Devi. Anais and Salome go to his room to wake him up. They inform Guino that he will be late for class, but David refuses to get up. So Salome removes the blanket and Anais throws her clothes.

After all, David goes to the institute. When he arrives, he does not look at the portrait of Deva hanging in the corridor. Mark and Clotilde arrive and ask if it’s the first time she’s experienced a long-distance relationship. David informs them that they have decided to split up so that Deva can fully experience her adventure in Argentina.

Clotilde confides in Mark that she is worried about David. She is afraid that he will start drinking again, especially after that “The first few months of abstinence can be quite trying.” She asks her colleague if it is possible to adjust her schedule. Mark promises to protect the young man.

A few minutes later, Mark walks over to Double A’s kitchen to talk to Anais. He asks her about David and confides her suspicions that he has started drinking again. Anais replies that she will not let David go.

As David prepares to return home, Anais stops him. She asks him to take care of Double A’s inventory with her. David answers that he prefers to sleep. Anais insists and manages to convince the young man to help her.

Joachim asks Hortense for help

Early in the morning, Clotilda finds her companion, her eyes drawn to a new passion: stones. Indeed, Joachim had just received the stone he had been waiting for a long time: “I’ve wanted one for a long time.”. To mock him, Clotilde replies: “You’re not just a handy guy, actually.”.

At the Auguste Armand Institute, Joachim presents Hortense with the structure of the wedding buffet. He seizes the moment to ask her what Clotilde has offered for their two-year relationship. Hortense replies: “A pygmy goat, a chocolate sculpture of your two heads kissing, or a knife sharpener with his initials?”.

These unusual ideas are not to Joachim’s taste. So Hortense suggests that she investigate by carefully questioning Clotilde. Joachim agrees, although he knows that the young woman is the queen of error.

Hortense sees Clotilda sitting in the institute park. She joins Chef on the pretext of wanting to know his opinion on the wedding gift list with Mehdi. But in the face of Hortense’s subtlety, Clotilde quickly realizes what’s going on. Hortense, now masked, asks Clotilde what she will offer Joachim. The latter answers: a trip to Sicily, like two years ago, by helicopter above the volcano. The young woman remains speechless.

At the end of the day, Joachim meets Hortense in the corridors of the institute. He asks if she’s done investigating, but the young woman pretends not to do anything. Joachim tells her that he is going to give Clotilde a comb.

As often happens, Hortense does not keep her promise and tells Joachim about her unexpected trip to Sicily. Joakim did not expect such a gift. Hortense adds: “It’s not a gift he’s giving you, it’s a huge declaration of love.”

Penelope attacked Ian?

Suleiman leaves. Antoine takes advantage of this little moment with his son to tell him that there might be something new in the investigation. Suleiman tries to find out more, but his father prefers not to talk about it until nothing is certain. She hugs him and tells him she loves him.

A few minutes later, Antoine informed Rose what he had learned from Tom: Ian would argue with Penelope and she would return to her room very late. Antoine is confused. Rose advises him not to tell Penelope about it because it could end their relationship, but Antoine is willing to sacrifice his relationship: “If he can bring Suleiman back.”

Antoine is about to explain this to Penelope when suddenly, Leticia asks him to come immediately because there is a problem with the supplier. Penelope advises Miriel to resume the conversation at the end of the day.

While waiting for the meeting, Antoine decides to question Ian again. He asks the young man if he remembers the argument with Penelope earlier in the evening. Ian thinks for a bit and says that he remembers the young woman’s angry face. Antoine thanks him, but Ian adds: “I think she was with someone.”. He didn’t know the man, but he remembers that Penelope went with him in the car.

Antoine finds Penelope in the kitchen. He asks her if she has a strong memory from the end of the evening, like the argument. Penelope replies that she left at midnight. Suddenly he received a message on his phone: “Okay, let’s meet at 6pm at the cafe next to your school. Please don’t leave me.”. Antoine takes advantage of Penelope’s back to read the SMS.

Penelope finds Billy in the institute park. He shows her the messages he receives from his mysterious contact. Penelope says to her friend: “I should never have agreed to see him.” Bill replies: “Do you realize what a quagmire you’re getting into?”. Penelope promises her friend that this is the last time.

Antoine goes to a cafe where Penelope meets her stranger. Suddenly he sees her with a man. He arrives angrier than ever and asks his girlfriend if she was the one who attacked Ian. The young woman is shocked, she replies that it is Baptiste, her ex, then orders Antoine to leave.
