We had already commented here on the release date of The Acolyte, new series from the Star Wars universe. And, this Tuesday (19th), the news is the first official trailer of the series. You get to see a little more of the story, as well as action scenes with Jedi, Sith, and lightsabers.
In a story considered dark even by the standards of the franchise, which has always dealt with serious plots, The Acolyte It should tell a story that chronicles the fall of the Jedi Order from its highest levels and, furthermore, will show how the rise of the evil forces that would dominate the galaxy occurred.
The series is also the first live-action production set chronologically in the High Republic era and before the films. We will see how, slowly, the Jedi Order will begin to lose strength in the years preceding the trilogy prequelthat is, episodes I, II and III, released in cinemas at the beginning of the century.

Now, Star Wars fans can only hold out their expectations until the series debuts on Disney+ on June 4, although we’re about to see a story with more problems than results for the good guys.
