The Military Brigade’s operation leads to the capture of a suspect with drugs and ammunition in the Parthenon neighborhood.
Sunday (24th), the military brigade captured a 22 year old individual on suspicion of drug trafficking AND illegal possession of ammunition in the Partenon neighborhood of Porto Alegre. The suspect already had a criminal record and was detained in the Bairro Partenon during a police raid.
During the approach, police identified the suspect as having an object, similar to a firearm, in his waistband. Having noticed the presence of the vehicle, the suspect attempted to flee towards his home, but was intercepted and subjected to identification.
After a thorough search, the officers found in the suspect’s possession a magazine for a 380 caliber pistol, containing 12 rounds of ammunition, as well as fractions of ammunition. marijuana, crack AND cocaine intended for illegal sale. A 556 caliber rifle magazine was also found in the house, accompanied by 27 rounds of ammunition.
The suspect, together with the seized material, was sent to the 3rd DPPA for appropriate legal procedures.
