Doctors and experts, therefore, maintain that fish is consumed more, and not sought only during the Easter period.
According to the professionals interviewed by Estadaocod is rich in minerals such as iron and phosphorus, and contains omega 3, a fatty acid that helps improve brain health and has an anti-inflammatory action.
Studies indicate that the inclusion of fish in the diet helps prevent cardiovascular diseases, since it is associated with polyunsaturated fatty acids of the EPA and DHA type, as explained by the president of the Brazilian Association of Nutrilogy (Abran), Durval Ribas Filho, in Estadão.

To help you choose the ideal cod for Easter, Paladar went to supermarkets and tested the most popular brands of desalted cod loin. A team of guest judges blindly tasted six fish samples.
At the end of the tasting, the jury concluded that the Bom Porto brand presented the best cod loin. The fish was considered soft and had firm scales.
