It is worth remembering how Rea has already been nominated for Oscar for acting in Betrayed by Desire. He worked with Murphy on projects such as the play Ballyturk and the film Breakfast on Pluto (2005). During an interview with the Irish news channel RTEhe was asked about his friend.
“He’s a really lovely guy. Of course, he had something very special, with tremendous focus, and he has a good laugh; he’s a great guy to work with,” he said. “He’s a very pleasant person, and it’s nice to go out with him for drinks and everything. His attitude toward acting is extremely comforting and great; he understands every detail and comes out with sincerity.”
