It’s been a while, but PC gamers can finally enjoy Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, 10 years after its release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, there is a small caveat.
As reported on the page DSOGaming (through IGN), this is the same version released for current generation consoles, but is only available for PC Microsoft Store. In addition to the graphical improvements, this version includes all DLC and extras originally available.
Places like Steam and the Epic Games Store still only have access to the Game of the Year version, which offers additional content, but no visual enhancements.
We still don’t know why Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is only available on the Microsoft Store for PC, but if news is released about it, we will update the news.
The Tomb Raider reboot was released for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2013. The Definitive Edition arrived a year later for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, leaving out PC.
