St. Bonaventure Hospital is preparing to close its doors!

After seven seasons on the air, American channel ABC will air the final episode of the medical series The Good Doctor, hosted by Freddie Highmore, on May 21. The last chapter, which promises to be rich in emotions, especially since it will be celebrated with the return of Antonia Thomas three years after leaving the program.

The actor will thus return in the series finale. This time, Dr. Claire Brown (Antonia Thomas) will not return for a simple courtesy, but because of a personal problem that promises to turn her life upside down, as well as the lives of her former colleagues.

Claire returns to St. Bonaventure Hospital as a patient

After returning from a mission to Guatemala, Claire will not be on the floor of St. Bonaventure Hospital as a doctor, but as a patient.

ABC also released a synopsis for the final episode of The Good Doctor titled “Goodbye.” According to this one, “As the doctors contemplate their future, they work together to solve one of the most important cases of their careers“.

It’s only a step from there to imagining that Dr. Sean Murphy and his colleagues will have to do whatever it takes to save Claire’s life.

Will Claire survive the cancer? You will have to be a little more patient to find out. The final episode of The Good Doctor will air on May 21 on ABC and soon on TF1.
