He hasn’t had his last word… Despite the failure of the two Rebels of the Moon movies, Zack Snyder will return to Netflix this summer with two longer versions of his sci-fi saga in August. .
But that’s not all, because the American filmmaker will also present his first animated series on the platform, called Twilight of the Gods. Created in collaboration with the French studio Xilam (Oggy and the Cockroaches), this program, intended for an adult audience, is a fantastic reinterpretation of Norse mythology.

The director’s style is evident from the first images of the show, especially his taste in slow-motion action scenes, but also copious blood splatters. Keep in mind that this isn’t Zack Snyder’s first foray into the world of animation, having already directed the family film The Kingdom of Ga’Hoole: The Legend of the Guardians in 2010.
The series features the intrepid warrior Sigrid and her husband Leif as they wage a merciless war against the hordes of the god Thor. During the vengeful crusade, the two spouses will have to overcome great challenges and face ruthless opponents.
