Season 4 of “Stranger Things” ended with the death of several important and beloved characters from the public. However, the creators even planned to include another goodbye.

In an interview with Collider, Ross Duffer explained that the original plans for the season finale were slightly different. “In terms of who lives or dies, I think there was a version where Dmitri (Tom Wlaschiha), aka Enzo, wouldn’t survive,” he said.

“He ended up getting [se safar]. But this was a radical departure from the original idea from what was presented, “she added.

However, the Duffer Brothers claim that Enzo’s altered fate hasn’t affected the rest of the season, as they always have the full story in mind they wish to tell. “One of the first things we always talk about is where do we want this story to end?”

“The ending is always the goal. Even when we discuss Episode 1, we know exactly where we’re going. I don’t think we’ve really deviated from the finale in any season, we’ve always kept that,” Ross said.

He confirmed two final consecutive deaths. Guaranteed Spoiler: From Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine) and Eddie (Joseph Quinn). But he didn’t mention Max (Sadie Sink), who ended the season in a coma.

Part 2 of season 4 of “Stranger Things 4” was released on Netflix last Friday (1/7) and the series has been renewed for another season.
