The Young and the Restless preview: recaps of episodes from Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 2, 2024. [SPOILERS]

Devon vs. Abby and Chance

Chance continues to think about what he experienced in Spain. Distraught, Abby’s husband can’t take care of Dominique. He ultimately decides not to return to work immediately, much to Ray’s disappointment. In turn, Devon decides to file for joint custody of the baby!

Abi takes this news very badly and has a tense confrontation with her friend. Maria is also not happy when she discovers that Devon wants to see more of the baby. Lily’s brother promises that he is doing this because it is what is best for Dominic.

Victor prepares his comeback

Devon hopes they’ll find common ground before the judge, but he fears it won’t. However, he wants to prevent the situation from getting worse. Chance confides in Abby that she doesn’t have the shoulders to handle this ordeal… Meanwhile, Jill sells ChanceComm to Newman Locke. Meanwhile, Victoria asks Victor to sell his Newman Media.

Victor says no and tells his daughter that he even plans to go back to work! He is also convinced that the Newmans are in for some big changes… In this sense, Victor suggests that Michael work for him in the future.

Adam rejects Chelsea

Chelsea and Sally, meanwhile, struggle to work together. The latter invites Adam to accompany him on a business trip to New York, but he refuses. Also, Chelsea tries to seduce Adam, to no avail. He even tells her that he needs to stop trying to get her back because he no longer has romantic feelings for her… He’s devastated and then gets mad at his ex!

Finally, Victoria wants Adam to doubt Victor. But she advises her sister to stay vigilant with her father as well. After a difficult time, Lily and William reunite and eagerly prepare to enter a new phase of their careers.
