The cast includes Christine Frozet (The Truth About Harry Quebert, Community), Alisha Boye (13 Reasons Why), Josie Tota (The Call), Imogen Waterhouse (The Outpost), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men). ) and Mia Tripleton, Kate Winslet’s daughter.

Former ‘Gossip Girl’ Joins ‘The Buccaneers’ Season 2

Apple TV+ has just announced a new name for Season 2, and not least because it’s a star of the 2000s and especially the iconic teen series of the time, namely Gossip Girl.

Leighton Meester, the unforgettable Blair Waldorf, will join the cast of The Buccaneers in an as-yet-undisclosed role, even if fans already think she’ll be playing heroine Nan’s mother. Apple TV+ has shared a behind-the-scenes video on social media that gives us a look at the Gossip Girl actress in her outfit.

Since Gossip Girl ended, Leighton Meester has been pretty much out of the picture, but she’s still featured in recent years on Single Parents and How I Met Your Father and The Weekend Away on Netflix.

In a press release, Apple TV+ revealed the first synopsis for The Buccaneers Season 2: England is now home to the Buccaneers, who have pretty much taken over the place. Nan is the Duchess of Tintagel, the most powerful woman in the land. Conchita is Lady Brightlins, the heroine of a wave of young American heiresses.

And Ginny is in the news because she ran away while pregnant. They grew up in spite of themselves and must now struggle to understand, juggling romance, passion, jealousy, life and death… themes beloved by women of all ages and times. If the first season offered us a taste of England, this new season offers us a real treat.
